Roberto Aguerre è artista di origine latino-americana, ora residente in Italia. Il filo rosso che lega tutta la sua produzione è il realismo magico che dà vita a immagini fantastiche dai colori accesi, abitanti in un mondo onirico e ancestrale, l’unico in grado di sostenere i dolori e le ingiustizie che oggi affliggono e travolgono le nostre effimere esistenze. L’artista non ama parlare di sé, affermando che sono le sue stesse opere a parlare e così cavalca la storia con dipinti rupestri, voli infuocati, personaggi fantastici e viaggi surreali sulle onde del tempo che lasciano spazio ad infinite chiavi di lettura.

Roberto Aguerre is an artist of Latin American origin, now living in Italy. The red thread that binds his entire production is the magical realism that gives life to fantastic images with bright colours, living in a dreamlike and ancestral world, the only one capable of supporting the pains and injustices that today afflict and overwhelm our ephemeral lives. The artist does not like to talk about himself, stating that his own works speak of him and so he rides over history with cave paintings, flaring flights, fantastic characters and surreal journeys on the waves of time leaving space to different reading keys.
